For the month of June 2022, Macon County Environmental Management Recycling Center, 1750 N 21st Street, Decatur will be open on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from noon to 4:00 p.m. for residents to bring their unwanted paint and electronics.
Unwanted electronics, such as TVs, video devices, gaming systems and computer equipment, will be collected from those who register for an appointment. Most electronic items will be accepted free except for TVs/monitors at $10 each.
