The Macon County Office Building is now open to the public. Visitors are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Masks will not be provided by the County. Each office may have additional safety precautions depending on their operations, so it is suggested to contact the office prior to visiting. To avoid crowding, it is recommended that business continue to be done online or by mail when possible.
The Macon County Environmental Management Department staff is complying with the masking and social distancing requirement and respectfully requests that anyone wishing to conduct business in person adhere to these requirements. In order to limit face-to-face interactions, Macon County Environmental Management encourages residents to utilize its website, MaconGreen.com, for information regarding recycling, proper disposal, and environmental concerns. Residents may also email questions or concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Department at 217-425-4505.
The Macon County Environmental Management Department thanks the residents of Macon County for your understanding and compliance with this request.
