Farm Progress Fairgrounds, East 6th Progress St., Decatur, IL

Macon County will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection, and will be collecting the following:

Oil-based paints, Paint thinners, Insecticides, Antifreeze, Pool chemicals, Fluorescent lamp bulbs, Acids,
Used motor oil, Aerosol paints, Household batteries, Herbicides, Solvents Old gasoline, Lawn chemicals,
Pesticides, Hobby chemicals, Cleaning products, Mercury, and Drain cleaners

Items not accepted are as follows:

Latex paints, Agricultural wastes, Lead acid batteries, Farm machinery oil, Fire -extinguishers, Controlled substances, Unwanted Medication,
Smoke detectors, Propane Tanks, Ammunition/Explosives Fireworks, Biohazard waste, and Institutional wastes.
